The prophet Isaiah here speaks about the blind. He prophesies about both physically blind and spiritually blind that God will guide them along unfamiliar paths and ways. I am convinced here it speaks about spiritual life and spiritual ways.

When I repented and gave my life to Jesus Christ, I began to hear and understand things which I didn’t know before. This is what Isaiah 42:16 says. God says, “…I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them”.

Beloved, I believe in the greatness and power of the Lord which opened our eyes bringing us from darkness into His light. Today we walk in His light. Let us believe that many people will still come to the light of God. Let us pray for our unsaved family members, relatives and friends who live in spiritual blindness today. According to His Word the Lord will open their eyes and show His ways and paths.

May the Lord bless you. Amen.
