Jesus said: “I am the door” (John 10:9). One of the most essential things is the door through which we enter or leave. There are doors which open, and there are ones that close. Who or what do we open our door to? Some people open the door to sin, while others open the door to God.
It is not only about the kind of door that the individual opens in his/her life, but also about the kind of door that the church opens for its country. The door of blessings that the church can open cannot be opened by anyone else.
The door that we must open for our country this year is the door of the Gospel and the Word. Let us be those people through whom God opens this door.
Besides the door of the Gospel, there is one negative door – the door of Hell, which is open in many countries; however, we can close it if only we open the door of Heaven.
“And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18).
This year we must close the doors of Hell, open the door of the Gospel and the Word, the door of Heaven and blessings for our country, our families and our church, and nobody will be able to close them.
Faith is an action. Let us knock and the Lord will open the door. I believe that if we are courageous and if we preach the Word of the Gospel, God will open a door for us which will end up being effective and fruitful.
“For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened” (Matthew 7:8).
