The secret of the LORD is with them who fear Him and He will show His covenant to them. In fact, the eleventh blessing leads us to the intimate relationships and meeting with the God. There is no believer, who does not want to have close relationships with the God.
Adam had close relationships with the God in the Garden of Eden. It is written that in the cool of the day the God was visiting Adam to walk with him. What a wonderful sight. The Almighty and Powerful God comes to walk with Adam…
However, one day Adam lost that close relationship, since he did not obey the Word of God and ate the forbidden fruit. When God came to the garden, He noticed that Adam is not there and God asked/called: “Adam, where are you?” Didn’t God know under what bush Adam hided out? Of course God knew, but with that question He wanted to show that He was looking for the previous Adam – a man who was created by Him, not the one who committed as sin against Him.
Adam came out and started to justify himself saying that a woman incited him to that action. And as we know, both Adam and his wife were driven out of the garden of Eden, because they did not have a contrite heart. They even tried to blame the God for what happened.
But today the God re-establishes His covenant with the ones who fear Him.
If you have the fear of the Lord, then He will keep close relationships with you. You will feel His presence; He will be with you every second and He will show you His covenant. At that time, you will not stumble over a stone.
Today, we need God’s intimate relationships and revelations more than ever. At that time, we will be under the God’s protection and no bad things will happen to us. We will inherit the Heaven, where we will enjoy the God’s close relationship, we will be called as God’s friends and we will not be ashamed of our lived life.
Therefore, always remember, that the fear of the Lord is necessary, for the future not to shame look into His eyes. Amen.
