Let us start from the last sentence. It is written that Job did not sin with his lips in all this. Reading the book of Job, we can see through which terrible ordeals he has had an occasion to go through and how the God blessed him at the end. But everything began with the fact that Job did not sin with his lips in all his difficulties and ordeals.

While Job lived in God’s blessings, no complaints and confrontations were observed by his wife. However, during ordeals, she raised her voice and said: “…curse God and die”.

Here we can see how the devil uses our family and friends against us in order to urge on the definitive false step. Difficult times are going to occur in the lives of everyone and no matter what happen or what people talk about us, we must never raise our voice in order to blaspheme the Lord.

Job said interesting words to his wife: “…shall we receive good at the hand of God and shall we not receive evil?”

Many people think that going through the way of God means to live in wealth and luxury. Oh, no, following the Lord means to walk the narrow path, one day in abundance and another day in scarcity. The Apostle Paul says: “I know both how to be abased and I know how to abound; every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need” (Philippians 4:12).

We see that both good and bad days occur in the lives of each anointed.

Beloved, I do not know in what situation you are now, in the rejection, in the difficulties, but please never raise your voice in order to curse the Lord. We praise the Lord when good and auspicious days come into our lives, but let us praise Him when we are not well too. Not murmur, grumble, complain and sin with lips before the Lord, but thank Him for everything and at any time.

Remember the source where the blessings of Job started from – he did not sin with his lips in all his ordeals! Amen.
